Denis is an Associate at the Kirwan Institute. His responsibilities include project management, database design, report writing, presentation, GIS, spatial and quantitative analysis. Denis has keen interest in neighborhood planning and emerging domestic market finance. His practice explores synergies between corporate strategy and technology and neighborhood planning. Prior to this, Denis established a consulting practice aimed at strategic and business development for not-for-profits in underserved urban neighborhoods. Prior to this, Denis served as an Intern in the President’s Office of the Columbus Urban League, studying the impacts of neighborhood planning on the retail and housing core of the Columbus neighborhood, Mount Vernon. Denis holds two Master’s Degrees in City and Regional Planning (with Thesis Distinction) and a Master’s in Business Administration, both from The Ohio State University. He completed a Baccalaureate degree at the State University of New York at Binghamton, majoring in Geography and Psychology.
