Angela works as a research associate at the Kirwan Institute. Her work involves social science research as well as support for new and existing projects. Prior to joining Kirwan in 2005, Angela was a graduate teaching associate in the department of political science at The Ohio State University, teaching undergraduate courses on American government, Black politics, and urban politics. She received a Master’s degree in American Politics from OSU in 2003 and is currently ABD. She also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Purdue University in 2000.
Research Interests: Race, gender, American politics, and public policy
